Tools

Governed tool access through MCP

Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers let models use your data and tools. In the Hub they are registered, tested and assigned by administrators.

  • Web search

Internet search for models that need current information.

  • Databases

Read-only or scoped query access to your own data stores.

  • File systems

Controlled access to documents and files.

  • APIs

Call internal or external HTTP APIs through a configured gateway.

  • Custom tools

Functions you define, with typed parameters and validation.

How MCP access is controlled

  • Only administrators register servers and configure their tools
  • Each server and tool is tested before it is activated
  • Servers are assigned to specific teams; others can request access
  • Users add their own API keys or tokens where a tool needs them
  • Invocations, errors and cost are tracked per server

APIs

Call the same governed models from your own applications

Every plan includes REST API access for connecting your own applications. Professional adds webhooks and an API analytics dashboard.
